This time we went to Vercelli, which is located on the right bank of Sesia River in Italy. Vercelli and the surrounding plains are an important agricultural and commercial centre for rice cultivation. No matter what the season is, but every time we pass by the fields of rise in Vercelli, our attention is drawn by an incredible scenery.
This plain represents a veritable patrimony of hydraulic architecture. In this aquatic landscape constantly appearing and disappearing, you can see herons (as in our case), kingfishers, white ibises and many other birds the live in the pappy fields and canals lined with poplar trees.
It is in this very suggestive area, with its chessboard of bank and waters, that, reflect the sky and the clouds, that we had the opportunity to visit MUNDI Riso.
