SKY Scrat: Ice Age 5 – Collision Course.
Still following the beautiful SKY initiatives in Milan dedicated to small children, this time 1blog4u’s staff went to photograph Scrat and his acorn at Piazza Gae Aulenti.
Clearly, I must have a deep romantic streak; in fact, I admit that seeing children play and have fun with water games, splashing in the “walkable” fountain designed by César Pelli, surrounded by the skyscrapers of Porta Nuova, was for me a spectacular experience. Pure poetry.
I would say that, in these days of great heat, the choice of a square covered with a thin veil of water was just perfect to accommodate the Ice Age installation.
Theater of smiles. Anyone who went by, from the tourist to the stressed Milanese, could not keep from smiling at the sight of children at play.
